During their stay in Greece they will meet with president of the republic Kostis Stephanopoulos, prime minister Kostas Simitis, Parliament president Apostolos Kaklamanis, while they will also have contacts with political party leaders and government ministers.The deputies come from Australia, Canada, the United States, Ukraine, Albania, Georgia, Romania, South Africa, Kenya, Yugoslavia, Sweden, Argentina, Holland, Lithuania and Peru. In the inauguration ceremony will be present president of the republic Kostis Stephanopoulos, prime minister Kostas Simitis and minister of environment, public works and land planning Kostas Laliotis.Mr. Laliotis stated that the project will be completed in the year 2004 and will cost 230 billion drachmas. Mr. Giovanoudas is 44 years old, is married and has two children. Meanwhile, Mr. Kaklamanis will submit a proposal to the political party leaders to change the Parliament regulation and have an open vote for the lifting of the parliamentary immunity.
