The Turkish-Cypriot newspaper "Kibris" in a main article writes that the arrival of the warships in Cyprus constitutes a response to the Greek- Cypriot armaments. Meanwhile, the Turkish television reported that the visit of the Turkish warships is an indication of Ankara's solidarity toward the Turkish- Cypriots. The three warships will leave the Turkish occupied Cyprus on Wednesday, January 29. The alternate Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Holland, which currently holds the rotating EU Presidency, will visit Washington on January 28 accompanied by the European Commission Vice-President and the main topic of the discussions with ms.Albright will be the Cyprus issue.
