[01] GREECE'S BORDERS WITH FYROM OPENED LAST NIGHT

Inspite of the fact that the greek borders with FYROM are open since Friday midnight in accordance with article 8 of the interim agreement signed in New York between Greece and FYROM, no FYROM citizen had appeared at the border crossing of Evzoni in order to enter Greece by 2pm today.

According to a high official in FYROM's Foreign Ministry, most of the skopjan population was not informed about the signing of the memorandum by the greek and skopjan delegations yesterday evening and as a result only a few skopjans are expected to take advantage of the open borders this weekend.

The greek Ministry of Public Order issued guidelines to be followed by the customs officers at the border crossings, according to which FYROM's citizens will be allowed to cross the borders with Greece not by using their passports but by simply writing their names on a white piece of paper on which the entrance visa will be placed.

Meanwhile, in a government announcement on the lifting of the embargo it was mentioned that the movement of goods will be made in accordance with the terms of the practical measures agreed by Greece and FYROM and also based on the EU customs regulations.

[03] THE HEPATITIS B CARRIERS ARE MORE LIKELY TO DEVELOP LIVER CANCER
