    Prime-minister George Papandreou is in Thrace today Friday. In the morning , he will visit Komotini Training and Social Support Center for People with Special Abilities. Next Mr. Papandreou will chair a meeting of a government delegation with Rodopi Economic and Social Committee. At noon he will meet with local senior PASOK party members while he will visit the 19th Panhellenic Commercial Exhibition "Thrace 2010" in the afternoon.

    [02] Train Blast Kills 65 in India

    At least 65 people killed and tens injured is the toll so far of a train crash in India. A passenger train was derailed by an explosion in a suspected attack by Maoist rebels and collided with a cargo train traveling in the opposite direction early Friday. Officials warned the death toll could rise as rescuers struggled to reach a large number of passengers still trapped inside the mangled wreckage. A police spokesman said it is a sabotage by Maoist rebels.

    National level exams continue on Friday on the following subjects: Latin, Chemistry, Electrology and Application Development in Programming Environment. Candidates for admission to tertiary education hope to get high scores to qualify for the university schools of their preference. Questions and answers in the tests will be broadcast by state television ET1 in a special bulletin at 14:00 and posted in ERTonline Panhellenic Exams website.

    [04] Cyprus Also Books Its Ticket for the ESC Final!

    Jon Lilygreen and the Islanders earned Cyprus a spot in the ESC final singing "Life Looks Better in Spring." The rest countries which emerged from the second semi-final held at the Telenor Arena on Thursday evening are: Georgia, Ukraine, Turkey, Israel, Ireland, Azerbaijan, Romania, Armenia and Denmark. Greece has already booked its ticket for the ESC final after a stunning performance on the night of the first semi-final. The second semi-final was broadcast live on eurovision.ert.gr and NET television.
