Nine people have died and thirty injured, three of them in a critical
condition after a fire tore through an elderly people's home in the
city Melle, in Belgium. The cause of the fire is still not clear,
authorities are still investigating. Officials said the fire was
probably accidental, when a fan or a television overheated or exploded.
Some 92 elderly received care at the facility, many of them had had
mobility problems and used wheelchairs.
