At the same time, the Congress is planning to adopt a new plan for resurgence of the US economy, which as per the Press might amount to 700 billion dollars. The positive climate has also been attributed to the British government's decision to reduce the VAT by 2.5% in the next 13 months, as well as proceed to tax-cuts for low income earners. In parallel, the British government is planning to boost employment with public works. Besides, oil has been trading today at US$54 today. Presently light crude has been trading at US$53.75 per barrel in Asia.
