Competent services have been placed on the alert to deal with possible
problems from deterioration of weather conditions across the country
with heavy rains, storms and strong winds. Bad weather conditions have
already hit western Greece and are forecast to expand to east Sterea,
Eboia, Thessaly and the Aegean islands. Particularly for Attika,
forecasters expect weather conditions to worsen from Saturday afternoon
till the early hours on Sunday. Weather is expected to start gradually
abating in western Greece tonight and across the country till Sunday
night.
