The president of the health Committee of the Weightlifting Federation, Mr. Christos Zafeiriou testified today to the prosecutor Andreas Karaflos. Mr. Zafeiriou submitted to the prosecutor statement of defense in which he denies his involvement in the case of the illegal substances' provision. As he claims he was the initiator during both 2006 and 2008 for the provision of amino acids to the athletes but he has nothing to do with illegal products. On Monday the pharmacist and the businessman from Larissa have been called to testify while the prosecutor will re testify the coach of the team Mr. Christos Iakovou.
