In Singapore, light crude for May deliveries has been subsiding Monday morning by US$1.41, closing at US$100.43 per barrel from Thursdays US$101.84 price in New York. Brent North Sea crude dropped by US$1.03 to US$99.35 per barrel. Last Wednesday, light crude dropped by about US$5, while investors are concerned over a slowing US economy. Mitsubishi Corp analyst Tony Niewnan believes that oil prices may stabilize to US$100.
