Strong political confrontation on the Siemens case prevailed in todays Parliament session. In response to SYRIZA party deputy, Yiannis Dragasakis question related to investigation in the scandal, Justice Minister, Sotiris Hatzigakis stressed that "whoever was bribed will pay" and described the oppositions request for the setting up of an Inquiry Committee as politically irresponsible and superficial. On his part, Mr. Dragasakis underlined "if we do not realize the dimension of the scandal, our country is exposed". PASOK party request for the setting up of an Inquiry Committee will be discussed in the Parliament next Tuesday while three prosecutors will fly to Munich and Bern in the next days to be briefed on the SIEMENS file by their German counterparts.
