[01] Every offset measure will be tabled separately, say gov't sources
Every offset measure will be tabled in several different articles
(one measure as one article), according to a decision by the cabinet
on Thursday, based on a proposal of Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras,
government sources said.
The government wants to complete all the procedures by 16-17 May so that
nobody will be able to blame the Greek government for delaying and to
give the opportunity for a further extension of the discussion for the
debt solution.
The medium-term measures on the debt must be specified at the Eurogroup
meeting on May 22, which is what all parts wish for in order IMF's report
on the sustainability of the Greek debt to be positive, something that
will pave the way for the country's inclusion in the quantitative easing
programme, said the same sources.
SYRIZA parliamentary group will convene on Friday at 11:00, chaired
by Tsipras.
