[01] PM Tsipras visits Jerusalem
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Thursday will visit the Holy
Sepulchre in Jerusalem to be briefed on the progress of restoration
work of the Holy Edicule by the scientific team of NTUA and Professor
Tonia Moropoulou, before the start of bilateral consultations with
the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu and the tripartite
Greece-Cyprus-Israel meeting.
[02] Greece's private and public sector unions on strike
Greece's largest private and public sector unions GSEE and ADEDY have
called a 24-hour general strike against continued austerity in Greece
on Thursday, as well as a protest rally at Pedion tou Areos park in
Athens at 11:00.
In an announcement, GSEE called on the citizens to a strike against the
austerity, poverty and humiliation policies that are still implemented.
