[01] Missing migrants found during rescue operation off Samos
Two migrants missing at sea since this morning six miles north of
the Aegean island of Samos were rescued by a Super Puma helicopter on
Thursday evening. One of them was well in his health but the other was
unconscious and had to be transferred to the island's hospital.
The search began after authorities found a plastic dinghy carrying some
40 migrants, who reported that two more of their number had jumped out
of the dinghy in an attempt to swim to shore.
