[01] Greece is a stability hub in the region, PM Tsipras tells US Secretary of State KerryGreece is a hub of stability in the region and a pole of cooperation, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said on Friday welcoming the US Secretary of State John Kerry at the Maximos Mansion.Kerry said he is aware of the major challenges our country is facing particularly on migration, adding that he highly appreciates the Greek efforts in the financial sector. Kerry promised that the US will do everything they can to help the country return to growth. Tsipras welcomed Kerry "at this critical period for the wider region" adding that "there are stability threats in the region and it is very important to find solutions to this problem." [02] EU Commissioner Avramopoulos stresses the importance of Internal Ministers meeting on FridayBRUSSELS (ANA-MPA/Ch. Vassilaki) - EU Commissioner for Migration and Internal Affairs Dimitris Avramopoulos on Friday stressed the importance of the EU Internal Ministers meeting later in the day."Time is up. Today is the time to deliver on the issues of migration and security," said the Greek Commissioner, noting that the aim of the meeting is to "commit the member states that there will be results on the issues: PNR, terrorism, hotspots, relocation, Europol." [03] Classic bicycle exhibition in ThessalonikiThe exhibition "Meet the classic bicycle" is being hosted at the WE venue in Thessaloniki, organized by the veterans of the Bicycle Unions of Northern Greece.A handmade bicycle made by the British company "Raleigh" which was constructed during WWI and has a light with acetylene is among the top attractions of the exhibition along with a military bicycle made by BSA used by English paratroopers during the period of the expeditions in WWII. The first Greek handmade bicycle MICHAELLO is among the exhbition attractions as well as 4 road and racing bicycles that were very popular in the decade 1980-90. The exhibition will run until December 6 and is held under the auspices of the Union of Bicycle Clubs of Macedonia and Thrace with media sponsors ANA-MPA and Praktorio 104.9 FM.
