He underlined that if a deal is reached, it will only be a "decent deal" adding that "the prospect of a rift is always existent if the creditors do not take a step back on the painful measures." Asked whether SYRIZA's parliamentary group will approve the deal, he replied: "In order to reach a deal, it will have to be a decent one, otherwise it will not be signed by the prime minister. In that case, the parliament will approve it. It will certainly include some difficult measures, but the weak will not bear again the burden."
