[01] PASOK leader Venizelos speaks in Chalkida, EviaANA - MPA -- The Greek people will decide what wil happen the day after elections, PASOK leader Evangelos Venizelos during a speech in Chalkida, on the island of Evia, on Tuesday.Charging New Democracy that it is trying to "frighten Greek people that if they vote for (main opposition) SYRIZA everything will be lost in the country," he did not spare the main opposition party, either, criticising it for "falsely lulling people into thinking that Europe will wait for us to decide and that it has no objections to unilateral acts, while it calls on Greece not to fulfill specific obligations." Among other things Venizelos said that those who left the party will not be welcomed back if they do not join it now for elections. In addition, Greek citizens are lost in the lies, he said, but "now is the end of lying, it is the moment of truth." Recognising the achievements of stability in the economy, he said "it is very important to protect what we all achieved with great labour and sacrifice, the stable ground achieved that will allow us to take another step forward to complete the fiscal programme and move to the preventive credit line," and called on voters to help PASOK become the third party in elections and the guarantor of the country's European trajectory.
