    ANA/MPA--Development and Competitiveness Minister Nikos Dendias will visit Berlin on Monday, after a Vice-Chancellor and Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy Sigmar Gabriel invitation to discuss the progress of the development programme in Greece, the prospect of investments in Greece and Germany's participation in the Development Fund.

    According to sources, Dendias will meet with German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble and Sigmar Gabriel on Tuesday. The officials are expected to discuss the progress of the Greek programme, the structural changes, the reforms and the Greek development fund.

    Dendias is also scheduled to meet with the German Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development Hans-Joachim Fuchtel.

    [02] Tsatoumas wins silver in long jump at European games in Zurich

    Prime Minister Antonis Samaras and Government Vice-President Evangelos Venizelos congratulated Louis Tsatoumas who achieved second place and won the silver medal in the long jump at the European Championships held in Zurich.

    The Greek champion reached 8.15m in his first attempt and was placed second behind British Greg Rutherford, who reached 8.29m.
