[01] Venizelos: Our aim to stenghten the relations between Europe and
the Arab World
ANA/MPA---Government Vice President and Foreign Minister Evangelos
Venizelos on Wednesday said that "Our aim is to strenghten the ties
between Europe and the Arab world, which is a fundamental strategic
partner for the European policy, particularly for the European policy of
the so-called South Neighbourhood" on his arrival at the EU Ministerial
meeting with country members of the Arab League.
The meeting is held within the context of the Greek EU Presidency at
the Zappeion Mansion in Athens.
"The Arab World is going through a very difficult period and it is
Europe's duty to assist the reconstruction of all the Arabic countries
as well as in the cultivation of a climate of security, stability,
peace along with prospect and prosperity for all the people.
