    ANA/MPA---Prime Minister Antonis Samaras on Monday met with Finance Minister Yannis Stournaras at the Maximos Mansion.

    Stournaras said after the meeting that they discussed the prior actions for the next bailout tranches. Asked to comment on the latest statements of German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble, Stournaras referred to the Finance Ministry's announcement issued on Sunday.

    [02] Alpha Bank signs new business agreement with workers' union

    ANA/MPA---Alpha Bank workers' union on Monday announced the signing of a new two-year business agreement and the signing of a new single organization for all workers in the bank.

    In an announcement, the workers' union said that Alpha Bank became the first bank to sign a new business agreement with very favorable terms, after completing its recapitalization, considering the economic enviroment prevailing in the country.

    The agreement fully safeguards workers' rights, maintains a ceiling of 1,800 euros which was abolished in the banking sector, envisages pay increases of 12.5 pct -28.6 pct in a series of benefits while the bank pledged to maintain its job positions.
