    ANA/MPA--Prime Minister Antonis Samaras on Thursday will meet with Government Vice-President and Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos to discuss negotiations with the troika, according to PASOK sources.

    The meeting between Samaras and Venizelos, who is also the leader of PASOK party, will take place at Maximos Mansion, at 17:30. Finance Minister Yannis Stournaras will brief them on the course of negotiations as well as on the recent Eurogroup meeting.

    [02] Conference on tourism at the Acropolis Museum on Monday

    The European Commission, the Greek Tourism Ministry and the Greek Tourism Organization (EOT) will hold on Monday a high-level conference on tourism as well as an informal ministerial meeting.

    The meeting will be held at the Acropolis Museum, under the Greek presidency of the EU Council.

    Among the issues to be discussed are the challenges, problems, and marine tourism potential ahead of the announcement of the EU strategy for marine and coastal tourism by the European Commission.

    The event will stand as an active platform for the exchange of views and practices on coastal tourism, cruise tourism, yachting, coastal management, marine clusters, marine cultural heritage,

    Finally, the discussions are part of the announcement on "Europe, the first tourist destination in the world – a new political framework for European tourism" and the development of sustainable, credible and high quality tourism. and cooperation between the public and the private sector in order to strengthen the promotion of sustainable coastal and marine tourism in the EU at a time of intense competition from other regions.
