AMNA-- Three-day events commemorating the 38th anniversary of the November 17, 1973 Polytechnic students' uprising that led to the collapse of the 7-year military dictatorship in Greece culminate on Thursday, as officials and the public continue laying wreaths and placing flowers at the Polytechnic monument.

Approximately 7,000 police officers will be patrolling the city of Athens to prevent incidents
