[01] Shipowner abducted in Kavouri

They said the shipowner had left his home with his car and driver when three unknown persons cut them off on the road. The assailants at gunpoint forced the shipowner and driver to get out of the car, then forced them to get into another car, with which they sped off with them.

A short time later the abductors released the shipowner's driver in the town of Koropi, then headed off again with the shipowner.

A massive manhunt was immediately launched by Attica security police.
