[01] Social security overhaul
Employment and Social Insurances Minister Fani Palli-Petralia on
Thursday presented the government's long-awaited social security
reforms package, aimed to tackle what looms as Greece's biggest
problem in the long-term period.
The main provisions of the 300-page draft law were released at a
televised press conference held at the employment ministry.

[02] ASE resumes trading
The Athens Stock Exchange (ASE) will resume trading operations at 15.00
local time (13.00 GMT) on Thursday, its board announced hours earlier.
The Greek stock market said the trading session will be extended for
one hour, with closing time at 17.30 local time.
The Greek bourse was closed for three days after a strike action by the
Bank of Greece's employees blocked the country's payment and settlement
system.
