Olympiakos Piraeus was knocked out of the European soccer Champions
League after losing 1-0 away to France's Olympique Lyon in a Group C
match on Tuesday night.
Pierre Laigle scored for Lyon in the second minute.
In Group C, Spain's Valencia and Lyon have qualified for the second
phase of the competition.
Valencia came first in the group while Heerenveen of the Netherlands
came last.
