Panathinaikos Athens drew 1-1 at home on Wednesday night with Spain's
Deportivo La Coruna in their first (Group E) European soccer match for
the Champions League.
The Greek team went into the lead with Krzyztof Warzycha in the 29th
miute.
Coruna equalised with a goal by Nourredine Naybet in the 84th minute.
For the same tournament, Spain's Valencia won 2-1 at home against
Olympiakos Piraeus in their first (Group C) match on Tuesday night.
