[01] Bosnia donors conference agenda
BRUSSELS - Housing and jobs are the cornerstones of reconstruction efforts in
Bosnia-Herzegovina, an international donor conference was told on Thursday).

BRUSSELS - A senior member of Bosnia's fledgling inter-ethnic government
criticised an international donor conference on Thursday, saying it had failed

the deadline for authorising the marketing and use of enzymes and
micro-organisms in animal feed, a document released on Thursday states.

BRUSSELS - The European Commission has lifted a suspension on applications for
beef export licences introduced last week, and will not cut refund rates as
expected, a Commission official said on Thursday.

BRUSSELS - The European Commission said on Thursday it accepted Morocco's
demand to extend an annual selective fishing ban in Moroccan waters to four
months, double the current period.

probe into the acquisition of French construction firm Spie Batignolles SA by
its employees and Amec Plc, a British construction and engineering group.

states may not condition aid to farmers under the "extensification of
production programme" on reduced output except during defined reference
periods.

WIESBADEN - Germany on Thursday reported record joblessness and a slowdown in
economic growth, giving Bonn a throbbing headache at the start of a year which
is crucial to its bid to forge European monetary union.

BONN - Chancellor Helmut Kohl on Thursday said Germany's economic recovery was
soundly based but declared himself ready to hold new talks with company and
trade union bosses to try to beat a jobs crisis.
