PSEKA CYPRUS CONFERENCE
SECURES SUPPORT OF KEY MEMBERS FOR
CYPRUS RESOLUTION

One of the goals of the 120 participants in the Eighth Annual PSEKA Cyprus Conference was to generate congressional support for the newly-introduced Cyprus resolution H. Con. Res. 81, calling for a U.S. initiative seeking a just and peaceful resolution of the situation on Cyprus. When participants came to Washington, D.C. this resolution had 4 co-sponsors (in addition to the original 6 who introduced the resolution). As a result of their meetings, an additional 19 members of Congress who met with participants co-sponsored the Cyprus resolution.

Below is a complete list of the 32 members of Congress who have co-sponsored H. Con. Res. 81 (as of June 16, 1997). Greek-American leaders across the country are urged to look for their member of Congress on this list. If he or she is not listed, please contact your representative immediately and urge them to co-sponsor this resolution.
