Foreign Minister, Mr Ioannis Kasoulides will be on a visit to United Arab
Emirates from 12-14 October 2001 and will be having talks in Abou Dhabi
with his counterpart, Mr Rashid Abdullah Al-Noaimi
[02] Theresa Villiers MEP: Cyprus must remain at the top of the agenda
Mrs Theresa Villiers, Conservative member of the European Parliament for
London, at a reception of the Conservatives for Cyprus on 9 October 2001,
stated that "Conservatives for Cyprus continues to play an important role
in ensuring that Cyprus remains at the forefront pf the political agenda.
The horrific events in New York have shown us how important it is to gain
justice for the victims of such awful tragedies. Similarly, we must not
forget the victims-or their friends and families-of the Cyprus problem.
Cyprus must remain at the top of the agenda in order that we can deliver
justice for them also".
