[01] Foreign Minister meets with Israeli President
[02] Consumer Price Index increases in December
Cyprus Foreign Minister Mr Ioannis Kassoulides held yesterday a meeting in
Israel with Israeli President Mr Ezer Weizman with whom he discussed recent
developments in the Cyprus problem.
Mr Kassoulides is visiting Israel to attend the celebrations for Christmas
2000 at the invitation of the Patriarch of Jerusalem Diodoros A'.
Increases in the prices of certain fresh vegetables and electricity are
accountable for an increase of 0,49 per cent in the Consumer Price Index
for the month of December 1999. Decreases have been recorded in the prices
of certain fresh fruit and potatoes.
