[04] Bomb attack in JerusalemCyprus expresses sympathy to the Government and the people of Israel after the terrorist bomb attack against civilians. An official statement released on Wednesday reads as follows:Cyprus is appalled by today's indiscriminate terrorist bomb attack against civilians in Jerusalem which resulted in the loss of so many innocent lives. Such condemned acts can never be justified to support any cause. They certainly undermine the objective of all the parties concerned and aim at putting in jeopardy the peace process. We are confident that his abhorrent act will not deter the protagonists from their efforts to reinvigorate the peace process in the Middle East and to surmount the hurdles that were put on its way. We express our sympathy to the Government and the people of Israel and our profound grief to the families of the victims.
