[01] Defence matters and enhanced cooperation the focus of talks between Cypriot and Austrian Ministers

Bilateral ties, defence matters and enhanced cooperation were the focus of talks Cyprus' Minister of Defence Christophoros Fokaidis had in Austria during his official visit.

According to an official press release, during his visit to Vienna, Fokaidis had bilateral talks with his Austrian counterpart Hans Peter Doskozil, with the participation of delegations from the two ministries, while he also met with OSCE Secretary General Lamerto Zannier.

During the bilateral meetings at the Austrian Defence Ministry, the excellent relations between the two countries were reviewed and ways to further enhance cooperation, particularly in the fields of training of military personnel.
