[01] Cyprus Olympic Committee signs Protocol of Understanding with
Olympic Committee of Oman
The Cyprus Olympic Committee and the Olympic Committee of Oman have
agreed to sign a Protocol of Understanding in the field of sports,
aiming at promoting bilateral cooperation, taking into consideration
the legislation and the regulations in both countries.
The four-year Protocol, that will be automatically renewed, provides
for cooperation in sports at all levels. According to a press release
issued by the Cyprus Olympic Committee, the Protocol was drafted after
consultations with the General Secretary of the Olympic Committee of Oman
Taha Suleiman Al Kishry with the contribution of the Foreign Ministry's
attaché in Oman Andreas Kouzoupi.
