Dr. Alexandros Charalambides, Assistant Professor at the Department
of Environmental Science and Technology of the Cyprus University of
Technology (CUT) has been elected to serve as the Young International
Solar Energy Society (ISES) Representative on the ISES Board of Directors
for the 2014-15 term.
ISES (www.ises.org), an international non-profit UN-accredited membership
NGO founded in 1954, has a long history of acting as the trusted global
advisor on renewable energy and this remains its core value.
It works to achieve 100% renewable energy for all, used efficiently
and wisely, by providing the global renewable energy community with a
collective, scientifically credible voice and up-to-date information
