[01] Cyprus committed in efforts against chemical weapons, Foreign
Ministry top official says
Cyprus will continue to support the efforts of the Organisation for
the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), Permanent Secretary of the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Andreas Mavroyiannis has said.
Mavroyiannis was addressing the 11th Regional Meeting of National
Authorities of States Parties in Asia, which was hosted in Nicosia,
between May 28 and 30.
According to an official announcement, Mavroyiannis highlighted, amongst
other things, the importance of the mission of the OPCW for the complete
elimination of chemical weapons.
