[01] Cyprus maintains capital restrictions unchanged
Cyprus Ministry of Finance maintained capital restrictions on the island`s
financial system imposed following an agreement with the Eurogroup for
a €10 billion financial assistance package.
The thirteenth decree will apply for seven days. Cash withdrawals from
Automatic teller machines remain at €300 per day.
In the last decree cashless payments and/or transfers were increased
from €10,000 to €15,000 per month per persons and to €75,000 per
legal persons.
Furthermore, fixed term deposits can be terminated in case of repayment
of a loan or a credit card within a certain institution.
