Laiki business customers whose accounts were transferred to Bank of Cyprus UK have been able to access their accounts without any problems, but those customers whose accounts were held or transferred to Cyprus have encountered a number of serious issues by virtue of their accounts now being based on the island. [02] Cyprus National Guard Chief attends EUMC meetingCyprus National Guard Chief, Lieutenant General Stylianos Nasis, attended the EU Military Committee meeting held in Brussels on Thursday.The meeting focused on preparing the December 2013 EU Summit, set to include a debate on defence and especially the strengthening of the defence industry and market. Military Chiefs also exchanged views on the role of the Armed Forces, taking into account the EU`s military capabilities and the spending cuts due to financial restraints.
