[01] Cypriot MPs reject money laundering allegations
A Cypriot parliamentary delegation, visiting Berlin, has rejected
allegations of money laundering against Cyprus.
The MPs said Cyprus seeks financial support from Europe and not
preferential treatment.
The delegation, on a working visit to Berlin, is having a series of
meetings to present Cyprus` anti-money laundering legal framework, to
fend off claims by European media that the island is harbouring capital
from illicit activities.
