  • [01] Europe's Journey" fairytale presented at the EU House

    "Europe's Journey", a fairytale written by the third grade pupils of St. Kassianos elementary school, was presented Tuesday at the European Union House in the presence of Foreign Affairs Minister and ambassadors of EU countries Europe's myth unfolds through the pages of the fairytale.

    Europe and Zeus, transformed into a calm bull, begin their journey from Athens, the city where democracy was born, and they travel to Italy, France, Belgium, Germany, Denmark and Cyprus.

    During their journey, they meet Goddess Athena, Pinocchio, Asterix and Obelix, Papa Smurf, Hansel and Gretel and Goddess Aphrodite. They learn about multiculturalism, human rights, free movement of citizens, the common currency and European institutions.
