[01] Petroleum product sales down in January 2013
Total petroleum products sales in January fell by 3.7% compared
to December, Cyprus Statistical Service data released on Tuesday
shows. Compared to January 2012, sales fell by a total of 9.4%.
During January a decline was observed in the sales of Asphalt, Kerosene,
Gasoil, Unleaded Motor Gasoline, Gasoil Low Sulphur and in the provisions
of Aviation Kerosene. On the contrary, an increase was recorded in
the provisions of Gasoil for Marine Use and in the sales of Liquefied
Petroleum Gases, Light and Heavy Fuel Oil.
The total stocks of petroleum products at the end of the month were up
by 2.3% compared to the previous month.
