    The presidential campaign for the run-off election on Sunday wraps up at midnight and all is set for the voting process.

    The two remaining candidates Nicos Anastasiades, President of the Democratic Rally and Stavros Malas, former health minister in President Demetris Christofias' Cabinet, will cross swords in the last live televised debate on Friday night.

    The Election services are all geared up for the second round and everyone expresses the hope that once again everything will run smoothly. Polling stations will open at 07.00 am local time (05.00 GMT) and will close at 06.00 pm with a break between 12 and 13.00. The final result is expected to be announced at around 07.00 pm Sunday night.

    The proclamation ceremony of the seventh President of the Republic of Cyprus will take place at around 10.00pm local time. In Sunday's elections a total of 1.130 polling centres will be set up, including 40 that will operate abroad.

    The number of voters are 545,491. In the first round of the presidential elections held 17th of February, Nicos Anastasiades, also supported by the Democratic Party, got 45.46% of the vote, while AKEL-backed Malas got 26.91%. EDEK supported Yiorgos Lillikas failed to make it to the run-off election.
