[01] Speaker: The people decide in the presidential elections
President of the House of Representatives and President of the
Movement of Social Democrats EDEK Yiannakis Omirou has said that "the
presidential elections are the top state and democratic procedure,
in which participation is absolutely necessary."
He added that "today the sovereign people decide on their future, the
future of our country."
He said it was necessary to have "a new national strategy, promoting
the Cyprus problem as an issue of invasion and occupation."
