[01] Petroleum sales down by 18.6% in November
The total sales of petroleum products in November 2013 decreased by 18.6%
compared to the previous month.
Figures released by the Statistical Service on Friday showed a decline in
the provisions of aviation kerosene and gasoil for marine use, as well as
in the sales of heavy and light fuel oil, motor gasoline and gasoil low
sulphur. On the contrary, a rise was recorded in the sales of kerosene,
gasoil and asphalt.
The total stocks of petroleum products at the end of the month recorded an
increase of 9.2% compared to the previous month. During the period January
- November 2013, the total sales of petroleum products recorded a decrease
of 8.3% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
[02] Motor vehicles registrations decreased by 29.4% in November
Total registrations of motor vehicles decreased by 29.4% to 17.013
in January - November 2013, from 24.104 in January - November 2012,
according to figures released on Friday.
The Statistical Service published the report «REGISTRATION OF MOTOR
VEHICLES» for the period January - November 2013. The figures showed
that private saloon cars decreased to 12.372 from 17.977 in January -
November 2012, i.e. there was a decrease of 31.2%.
