[01] Bank of Cyprus shares may resume trading on CSE by October,
CySEC says
Bank of Cyprus` shares may resume trading on the Cyprus Stock Exchange
(CSE) by October, Chairman of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange
Commission Demetra Kalogirou has said.
Kalogirou met with technocrats of the Troika mission, which is visiting
Cyprus for the first review of the €10 billion adjustment programme
agreed between Cyprus and the European Commission, the European Central
Bank and the IMF, collectively known as the Troika.
Kalogirou briefed the Troika technocrats on the impact on the investment
firms by the bailout agreement, which featured a haircut on uninsured
depositors, as well as capital controls in a bid to avert a possible
bank run.
