  • [01] Defence Ministry: New website and Twitter account

    The Ministry of Defence presented on Tuesday its new upgraded website and its Twitter account, saying this was a pioneering venture.

    The Minister of Defence Demetris Eliades presented the new website and the account on Twitter during a press conference on Tuesday, at the offices of the European Commission Representation in Cyprus, in Nicosia.

    In his address to the conference, Eliades described the use of social media networks by the Ministry of Defence as a pioneering venture for Cyprus Public Service.

    He noted that the Cypriot Ministry of Defence is among the first Ministries of Defence of EU member states to introduce these new tools.
