Minister of Justice and Prosecutor General of the Republic of Poland
Zbigniew Cwiakalski has expressed hope that the UN and the EU will help
solve the Cyprus problem soon and make Cyprus a free country.
In statements on arrival in Cyprus on Tuesday, the Polish Minister said
that Poland, with its own means, will try to help as much as possible
towards a solution to the Cyprus issue.
Welcoming the Polish Minister, Cypriot Minister of Justice and Public
Order Kypros Chrysostomides said the two have established a good
friendship which will continue with Cwiakalskis visit to Cyprus.
Chrysostomides said that Cyprus, Poland and Denmark will share the
presidency of the European Union in 2011-2012 so they have many issues
to discuss, in addition to bilateral relations.
