Cypriot Minister of Foreign Affairs George Lillikas will be flying to Croatia later on Monday for a working visit, after the conclusion of the EU General Affairs and External Relations Council in Luxembourg.

In the context of his visit, Lillikas will be received by Croatian President Stjepan Mesie, Prime Minister Ivo Sanader and Speaker of the country`s Parliament Vladimir Seks.

He will also have a private meeting with his Croatian counterpart Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic, followed by talks with the participation of delegations from the two countries and a joint press conference.

    [02] TROODOS RALLY - WINNER

Qatars Nasser Al Attiyah has brought new interest in the FIA Middle East Championship (MERC), wining the Troodos Rally, round 3 of the MERC.

After a two-day battle in Cyprus, Al Attiyah, the defending Middle East and PWRC Champion, scored 10 valuable points which brought him closer to his main rival and championship leader Khalid Al Qassimi of UAE, who finished fourth of the registered Middle East teams in the Troodos Rally. However Al Qassimi managed to maintain his lead in the eight-series Championship race.

Speaking after the event, Al Attiyah said ``I leave here with 10 points which tightens the Championship ahead of Jordan and hopefully we can continue to do well there``.
