[08] Weather forecast for Cyprus1705:CYPPRESS:08Weather forecast for Cyprus Nicosia, Sept 9 (CNA) -- The Meteorological Office at Larnaca International Airport has issued the following weather forecast for Cyprus: On Tuesday (September 6) and Wednesday (September 7) the weather will be mainly fine with some local cloud in the afternoon. Winds initially, will be northwesterly to northeasterly with a gentle breeze, gradually shifting from the southwest to the northwest. At night a gentle breeze will blow from northwest to northeast. Temperatures will reach a maximum of 32 to 34 and a minimum of 20 to 21 degrees centigrade inland, maximum temperatures of 31 to 32 and a minimum 20 to 21 degrees over the coast and maximum temperature of 20 to 22 and a minimum 12 to 14 degrees over Prodromos. Speaking at Larnaca airport prior to his departure to New York to attend the 2nd World Conference of Speakers of Parliament hosted by Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) under the United Nations, he expressed the belief that with the current situation it is possible to have such a counterstatement.
