Nicosia, May 15 (CNA) -- French driver Sebastien Loeb, in a Citroen Xsara, is in the lead in the Cyprus Rally 2005 on the third and final day of the competition.

In second place is Austrian Manfred Stohl in a Citroen Xsara WRC 2004, with Estonian Markko Martin, in a Peugeot 307 WRC, in third place.

Cyprus Foreign Minister leaves on official visit to Israel

Nicosia, May 15 (CNA) -- Cyprus Foreign Minister George Iacovou departs tonight for Israel on an official visit, at the invitation of his Israeli counterpart Silvan Shalom.

He is to have talks with the Israeli government as well as leaders of the Palestinian Authority.

Warsaw, May 15 (CNA) -- Cyprus President Tassos Papadopoulos will take part in the Council of Europe Summit, to be held īn 16-17 May in Warsaw.

He leaves for the Polish capital later today and will return on Wednesday afternoon.
