[01] Weather forecast for Cyprus1225:CYPPRESS:01Weather forecast for Cyprus Nicosia, Nov 22 (CNA) -- The Meteorological Office at Larnaca International Airport has issued the following weather forecast for Cyprus: Tuesday and Wednesday: 23/11/2004 to 24/11/2004 ------- The weather on Tuesday and Wednesday will be generally cold while local cloud are likeley to result in isolated showers and over the mountains in snow showers. The wind will prevail northwest, on Tuesday gentle to moderate 3 to 4 bf and stron 4 to 5 bf over the wondward areas, weakening on Wednesday to generally gentle to moderate 3 to 4. The state of sea will be moderate to rough abating. The minimum temperature will range from 4 over the hightes mountain areas to 8 over the coastal areas, and the maximum from 3 over the mountains to 17 over the coastal areas. Outlook for Ôhursday and Friday: 25/11/2004 to 26/11/2004 ------------ On Thursday and Friday the weather will be locally partly cloudy with showers and probable thunderstorms. Speaking after the meeting, Christofias said he would not reveal the positions of the government in view of the EU Summit on December 17, which will examine Ankara's EU bid, noting that during today's meeting there was ''real interest on how it is possible for Turkey to start accession talks with the EU without recognising all 25 member states.''
