Weather forecast for Cyprus

Nicosia, Oct 28 (CNA) -- The Meteorological Office at Larnaca International Airport has issued the following weather forecast for Cyprus:

Friday and Saturday: 29/10/2004 to 30/10/2004 ------------------------------------------- Local showers or isolated thunderstorms on Friday but fine with local cloud on Saturday. Winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly light to moderate and the state of sea slight but moderate in any storm.

Maximum temperature: Around 28C inland and over south coastal areas and 26C over west coastal areas.

Minimum temperature: 16C inland and around 18C over coastal areas.

Outlook for Sunday and Monday: 31/10/2004 to 01/11/2004 ----------------------------------------------------- Fine with local cloud. No significant change in temperature.
